About ORTEC

ORTEC was founded on 1 April 1981 by five innovative students from Erasmus University Rotterdam who were convinced that the mathematical theories and algorithms they were working on could be put into practice and logistics processes optimized. The combination of their knowledge of algorithms and programming gave rise to ORTEC: Operations Research Technology.

Today, we have over 1000 employees in Europe, North & South America and Asia, around 100 of whom work at the German branch in Bremen and at the Heidelberg site. With our software and consulting services – also integrated into SAP – we now support the logistics processes of over 2000 customers worldwide and help to reduce daily CO2 emissions.

We would like to make a small contribution to optimizing processes in companies around the world with our intelligent software solutions for decision-making and thus also help to save resources.
